Our book 100 Treasures and the Stories They Tell is making an epic impression— just ask Oprah! We hung tight for weeks as Amazon’s #1 photo essay new release but alas, we did not burst on to national best seller lists.
The perm threat level has been downgraded to zero.
But straight hair don’t care—a Pulitzer Prize winning journalist (you know who you are) recently reminded me that best seller stardom is irrelevant when I have *already* created something incredibly special. And she’s right—nothing has changed! The stories are still waiting to be told, the art still waiting to be made. Only difference is now my book is in the Museum of Modern Art. But I digress!
We now return to our regularly scheduled programming. Summer is already looking pretty Heirloomist-y. Here are four announcements:
Buckle up, OMAHA. The Bookworm will graciously host The Heirloomist for a book signing event on June 29 at 2pm. ALL IN PERSON PURCHASES of 100 Treasures and the Stories They Tell will be entered into a drawing for an Heirloomist commission, on the house.
Heading to The Hamptons this summer? Our Hamptons Lovie Popup Sessions mean same day service for lovies and stuffed animals—or anything else you’re in the mood for! Come for the sea and sun, leave with some modern art. Signed prints arrive in 14 days and you won’t have to convince the kiddos to part with their besties. Email theheirloomist@gmail.com to make an appointment or ask questions.
Is your Heirloomist art intended as a gift? We love a good deadline but we’re asking everyone to PLEASE THINK AHEAD. Turnaround time on orders is currently 20-30 days.
Last but not least, will you tell Amazon how lovely my book is? Amazon Book Reviews help visibility and we’re doing everything we can to make sure the planet knows about my baby! Takes less than a minute. CLICK HERE to get started and on the left hand club of the screen, click “write a customer review.”
In a month or two, we’ll start harassing you for holiday orders so until then, cheers to taking it down a notch. xShana
p.s. If you haven’t purchased a book yet or want to buy some gifts, show us your book purchase receipt and we’ll take $50 off your next order.
