I'm not bossy, I'm the boss.

As the launch of our first book approaches, we have a job for you.

When I started The Heirloomist, I was just a kid with a camera hoping to do something that felt like it mattered. The magic hit right away. Art that honors who we are and where we come from matters to a whole lot of people. The Heirloomist had to grow up really quickly. The Heirloomist turned me into a boss.  (Added some bling to my most holiest of possessions, my jean jacket, to remind me.)

Running a small business comes with a lot of responsibility. When I put the camera down, one of the things that weighs heavy is how to communicate with all of you— in a meaningful not annoying way. I hate an inbox full of useless emails. I don’t have the time for it.

But here’s the thing. You might have heard— I WROTE A BOOK. So the coming year is going to be the equivalent of one of those air cannon t-shirt launchers— rapid fire excitement, announcements, and promotions coming at you full speed. (Someone might be getting a 4ft tall champagne cork print soon.)
