Pizza makes people happy. Pizza brings people together. Pizza is for moments. And every town has their own beloved local joint—that family-run spot that has been in business longer than some of us have been alive.

Therefore, pizza is an heirloom.

Pictured is my own neighborhood legend, Joe’s. One bite and I’m transported back to being young and wild in New York City, a time when my metabolism could manage a few slices without having to buy bigger pants.

I can’t decide which photograph is better—the box, which is so graphic and cool, or the straight up symbolic slice on a plate. Which do you like best? We’ll make it for you!
